Packaging your pillows
All our pillows (standard, queen king and euro) are returned to clients in our special bags custom made to our specifications.
The bags have the following properties:
- Soft, cotton-like, polypropylene man-made fiber
- Opaque white color with matching white trim along the edges
- Breathable with air inlet holes measuring 9 microns
- Acid free and BPA free
- WHITE KNIGHT pillowCARE logo printed on the front in gold
- The fabric is very similar to the fabric bags used by fine department stores, clothing and bridal boutiques for their garments.
These bags are designed to protect your pillows from dust in transit and while in storage at home.
In the event that a bag gets dusty in storage, for any reason, just rinse the bag in a front load washer for 2 or 3 minutes (no detergent and no fabric softener), extract lightly and hang dry. It'll air dry in under 5 minutes.
"I am generally not a review writer, but I feel everyone should know about this company where I send my down pillows to be cleaned. They do an exceptional job. First, they remove the down and de-mite, de-dust, clean, sanitize and deodorize the down. All without washing in water or dry cleaning in solvents. Then, they re-stuff the clean down into a beautiful, high-thread count case. If the pillows are old (like mine), they will add extra down at a nominal cost to make them plump again. Of course, they check with you first to see how firm you like them. Lastly, they re-tag your pillows stating the contents and they give the date of cleaning. This is really helpful. Once you've had your old pillows refurbished, you will have an idea when it is time to clean them again. When you receive your pillows, you'll notice that they are packaged in breathable storage bags and that they were shipped in a sturdy box. I can't believe that my 25 year old pillows that I was ready to toss came back looking brand new. How grateful am I that I gave White Knight/Rave a try and that these superior down pillows avoided the landfill? The whole process is far cheaper than buying brand new down pillows."
